INDEPENDENT LEARNING

For both AS and A2 please make sure that you carry out some detailed independent learning this week, using the key AS and A2 text books.

This includes reading the relevant chapters and making your own summary notes/revision cards, as best fits your learning style.

A Study Skills Day at The Royal Geographical Society has been booked for all Year 12 Geography students on Wednesday 03 February 2016.

Letters and a programme for the day have been produced. Please return consent letter, medical information sheet and your contribution of £10 over the next few weeks to Mr Wilson.

These are top quality days and directly beneficial to your AS course.

Geography taster course at King's College London
King's College London has just announced they will be running a number of Geography taster courses over the next few months on the dates below. 
They are open to year 12 and 13 sixth form students who are currently taking Geography at AS and /or A level or equivalent and are free to attend.

Royal Geographical Society A2 Study Skills Day

A Study Skills Day at The Royal Geographical Society has been booked for all Year 13 Geography students on Monday 30 Nov 15.

Letters and a programme for the day have been issued. Please return consent letter, medical information sheet and your contribution of £10 in the next two weeks to Mr Wilson.

An AS Study Skills Day will also be available on Wed 03 Feb 16. More details before Half Term.

Could all AS students please ensure that you have read, understood and made notes on Chapter 27 (Rebranding), plus complete Q1 on Page 300.

Notes will be checked and Q1 taken in next lesson.

To date I have only received 1 "Sense of Place" survey. Please make sure that these are emailed to me so that we can go through them next Friday (02 Oct)
